FAMU creating REACH to help entrepreneurs
Florida A&M University received federal funding to promote entrepreneurship on campus and in the southside of Tallahassee. This funding will be used to encourage and develop startup businesses through the creation of REACH, the Research, Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Hub.
The $1.3 million being received will be matched by FAMU commitments of time and expenditures, as well as external support and matching assistance from other local partners including Innovation Park’s governing entity- the Leon County Research and Development Authority, as well as the Office of Economic Vitality and Domi Station.
