Beaches and Shores Resource Center
The Beaches and Shores Resource Center works to preserve Florida's state beaches through scientific studies for state programs related to coastal engineering and beach management.
Center for Advanced Power Systems
The Center for Advanced Power Systems (CAPS) is a joint venture of Florida State University, the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering and the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory. CAPS focuses on advanced power technologies with particular emphasis on transportation systems, as well as traditional utility systems.
Center for Advancement of Learning and Assessment
The Center for Advancement of Learning and Assessment (CALA) is a leader in research and design of multimedia instructional materials and customized assessments for government, nonprofit and private-sector agencies.
Center for Biomedical and Toxicological Research
and Hazardous Waste Management
The Center for Biomedical and Toxicological Research (CBTR) addresses problems associated with environmental impacts to human health not only in Florida, but nationally and worldwide.
Center for Information Management and Educational Services
The Center for Information Management and Educational Services (CIMES) provides both public and private agencies innovative solutions to meet a wide range of needs including information management systems, marketing campaigns, training programs and print and multimedia product development.
Center for Ocean, Atmospheric Prediction Studies
COAPS researches the changes in the Earth's climate that are affected by the tropical and mid-latitude oceans on a yearly basis and through the decades. Recently, COAPS has been recognized around the world for its studies on the impact of El Nino on severe weather.
College Center for Library Automation
CCLA operates the statewide Library Information Network for Community Colleges (LINCC) and associated Web-based information portal, LINCCWeb. CCLA provides information resources that seek to enhance the educational experience at Florida's community colleges.
Construction Management Development Program and Bond Guarantee Program (CMDP-BGP)
The Construction Management Development Program and Bond Guarantee Program was created to assure Small and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals have the maximum opportunity to participate, bid and perform successfully statewide on Florida Department of Transportation contracts.
Danfoss Turbocor Compressors, Inc.
Danfoss Turbocor Compressors is dedicated to the design, manufacture, marketing and support of the world's most efficient commercial refrigerant compressors. Danfoss developed the world's first totally oil-free compressor specifically designed for HVACR.
Department of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs Bureau of Seafood and Aquaculture
The Bureau of Seafood and Aquaculture works to ensure that Florida's citizens are educated about Florida's aquaculture system and seafood industry. The website contains information about activities & event, such as festivals, recipes, and health & nutrition facts.
Department of Environmental Protection - Bureau of Mining & Minerals Regulation
The Bureau of Mining & Minerals Regulation is a division of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. This agency administers the laws and regulations related to the reclamation of mined land and the protection of water resources (water quality, water quantity and wetlands) at mines throughout Florida. The Bureau works with several mining land operations and also works with the permitting, compliance, enforcement, design, construction, operation and maintenance of phosphogypsum stack systems.
Department of Environmental Protection Bureau of Laboratory Services
The Bureau of Laboratory Services supports DEP activities throughout the state and assists other local, state and federal agencies in environmental activities. In addition to laboratory analyses and technical consulting, the Bureau provides field sampling services to many DEP programs.
Department of Transportation Structural Research Laboratory
The DOT Structural Research Laboratory is one of the leading laboratories in the country that test the integrity of materials used to build bridges and roadways. This department works to improve and protect Florida's transportation system through the ethical scientific conduct of research that increases global knowledge of products, processes, and practices; to transfer information; and to encourage the implementation of research results.
DiscovRx, LLC
DiscovRx, LLC is a pharmaceutical start-up company established in 2005. Karunya Kandimalla, R&D President of DiscovRx, is a professor at the Florida A&M University School of Pharmacy. The company has a $15,000 grant award to secure office and lab space and develop marketing materials.

Design Arts Seminar serves the continuing education needs of licensed design professionals.

Elbit Systems of America is the research and design authority for high performance communication and computer technologies used for military applications and programs.
FAMU Center for Plasma Science and Technology
The Center includes: X-Pinch Plasma Laboratory, Carbon Based Material Laboratory, Ultrafast Spectroscopy Laboratory, Laboratory for Modern Fluid Physics, and Laser Remote Sensing Laboratory.
FAMU Enterprise Information Technology (EIT)
The goal of the Enterprise Information Technology Division is to provide cost effective, efficient and reliable access to Information Technologies including hardware, software, networking, life safety systems and telephony for students , faculty, staff, stakeholders, community and prospects.
Florida A&M University Institute on Urban Policy and Commerce (IUPC)
The Institute on Urban Policy and Commerce at Florida A&M University was commissioned by the State Legislature to develop comprehensive urban strategies and partnerships to address critical social, economic, and physical issues through applied research and training.
Florida Center for Interactive Media (FCIM)
The Florida Center for Interactive Media creates tools to excite learning. They do this using the latest innovations in multimedia development for creating interactive CDROMs, developing world wide web sites, producing broadcast ready video and in a variety of other services.
Florida Center for Reading Research
The Florida Center for Reading Research conducts basic research on reading, reading growth, assessment and instruction for students. FCRR provides technical assistance to to Florida's schools and to the State Department of Education for the improvement of literacy outcomes.
FCRC Consensus Center
The FCRC Consensus Center (formerly Florida Conflict Resolution Consortium) was created to bring Floridians together by collectively solving public disputes and to minimize the costs of litigation and administrative appeals associated with those public disputes.
Florida Cybersecurity Institute (FCI)
The Florida Cybersecurity Institute is a joint venture of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), the Florida State University (FSU), and the National White Collar Crime Center (NWC3). FCI provides research, analysis, training, and technical assistance relating to cybercrime to assist in accomplishing the goals and objectives of FDLE's Florida Infrastructure Protection Center (FIPC).
Florida Distance Learning Consortium
The Consortium's purpose is to provide strong distance learning leadership for Florida's PreK-20 educational system. It achieves this objective by spearheading statewide initiatives and facilitating cross-institutional communication, thereby championing the interests of its membership institutions.

Florida State University Human Subjects Committee
Florida State University's Institutional Review Board is commonly referred to the "Human Subjects Committee." The committee reviews and determines whether to allow tests on human subjects for research projects at the University.

nanoStrata is a research and development company at Innovation Park specializing in Robotic Multilayering research and applications. They offer low-cost robotic solutions to produce multilayered samples, and also provide consulting and on-site support.
National High Magnetic Field Laboratory
The National High Magnetic Field Lab is the only facility of its kind in the United States. It is the largest and highest powered of the nine magnet laboratories in the world. The lab is dedicated to providing research and learning opportunities to students and scientists.
National Park Service Southeast Archeological Center
The Southeast Archeological Center conducts archeological research, collections and information management, and technical support for national park units located in the Southeast Region of the National Park Service. It also provides technical services to other Federal agencies, state, local governments and private not for profit organizations.
Northwest Regional Data Center
The Northwest Regional Data Center provides computing facilities, equipment and technical support to education and government entities throughout Florida.
NTB Technologies and Associates
NTB Technologies and Associates integrate a network of machine fabrication, materials processing and research design companies with capabilities in proto model, test bed model, and miniaturization of sensor electronics, power systems, GC-MASS Spectrometry Systems, Energy Production, non-invasive sensor and medical monitoring systems, and space/defense hardware.
The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at FAMU
Florida A & M University is the host institution for the Small Business Development Center in northwest Florida serving 8 counties from Leon to Madison. SBDC programs deliver up-to-date management advice, training and information to help business owners make sound decisions and to assist potential owners in getting started on the right foot.
